Jordan Walker joins UAB Men’s Basketball Roster
Walker transfers to the Blazer basketball program from Tulane. The 5-11 guard played in New Orleans the past two seasons, averaging 10.2 points and 3.0 assists per game for the Green Wave. The Port Washington, N.Y. enters fifth year of college basketball having began his career at Seton Hall during the 2017-18 season.
“Jordan is a dynamic, creative lead guard who makes plays with the ball,” said Kennedy. “His playmaking ability allows him to constantly apply pressure to the defense and at just under two steals per game last season for Tulane, he is very disruptive defensively. Jordan’s impact will be felt immediately.”
Walker joins a lengthy list of transfers coming into the UAB program this upcoming season. Auburn transfer Jamal Johnson, Ole Miss transfer KJ Buffen, South Alabama transfer Tyreke Locure, USF transfer Justin Brown and Odessa Junior College transfers Elijah Tate and AD Diedhiou all joined the roster this offseason.
