University officials confirmed Wednesday afternoon that former 14-year NFL veteran, ESPN analyst, high school coach, and Super Bowl-winning quarterback Trent Dilfer would become the program’s seventh head coach. The UAB Athletic department held an introductory press conference Wednesday evening to announce the decision. Tickets go on sale for UAB men’s basketball games in inaugural Barstool Invitational for as low as $16, announced UAB’s Barstool Sports affiliate, @blazeonbarstool, via Instagram on Tuesday.
