There are plenty of things to do in Birmingham this weekend from finding new local Black-owned businesses to support to trying your hand at yoga at one of the local breweries. You’re sure to find something interesting to do.

Friday

Dinner and Tunes featuring Matt Bennett

Where: The Tin Roof
When: 6 p.m.
Price: Free

Come enjoy some fantastic food and drinks while listening to the famous Matt Bennett. Later that evening Bennett and his band will also be performing for everyone to come and start their weekend off right. Make plans, because seats tables will fill up fast! Gate City Neighborhood Cleanup

Where: Old Gate City Elementary School
When: 8 a.m. – 10 a.m
Price: Free

Are you looking to do something to help others this weekend? Why not help the city of Birmingham. This Saturday, come help clean up the streets with a wonderful group of individuals. Annual Cream of Crop Pop Up Shop

Where: The Dannon Project

When: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

This event includes some of Birmingham’s greatest small, Black-owned businesses along with giveaways, music and more to give you a great summertime experience. Machine Funk: A Tribute to Widespread Panic

Where: Avondale Brewing Company
When: 6 p.m.

Come attend one of the most electric concerts of the year with Machine Funk. This band will be playing fantastic music that is sure to draw in a huge crowd. Sunday Yoga Series

Where: Cahaba Brewing Company 
When: 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Want to know if you would be a good fit for Yoga? Come enjoy a class this Sunday with Hayley Holdridge. You will be able to discover your true limits and surpass them with her careful instruction. Pride at the Dome

It’s time to walk down the runway.
