As UAB is hosting a number of on-campus COVID-19 vaccine pop-up clinics, Kaleidoscope reporter Emma Owen breaks down how you can get a vaccine and why getting vaccinated is as important as ever with the even more contagious Delta variant beginning to spread.

Hi there, my name is Emma Owen and I am a junior majoring in communication studies. In addition to writing for Kaleidoscope, I am a Blazerette and compete in the Miss Alabama Organization. Outside of class, I enjoy volunteering with various organizations in the Birmingham area, including Siren Snuggles, a nonprofit organization that I created and run.
