UAB now has a safer way for students to buy and sell items from apps like Facebook Marketplace with the Trade Safe Zone located in the UAB Police and Public Safety Department parking lot.

Hi there, my name is Emma Owen and I am a junior majoring in communication studies. In addition to writing for Kaleidoscope, I am a Blazerette and compete in the Miss Alabama Organization. Outside of class, I enjoy volunteering with various organizations in the Birmingham area, including Siren Snuggles, a nonprofit organization that I created and run. Sharing the stories of others through Kaleidoscope is a joy and I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity.
