There is a variety of things you can do online to get your mind off quarantine. Some are educational and some are fun, but many can be both. Here are just a few of the things you can do by yourself or with your family to relax and explore without leaving your home.
Nikon School Online
During the month of April, Nikon is offering all their online classes for free. These photography classes range from the fundamentals to more targeted classes that focus on specific areas of photography. Two of those areas are portrait and landscape photography. They are also offering classes on creating videos as well.

Online Museum Tours
Since quarantine started museums have closed, but you can still visit them through virtual tours of their exhibits. Just a few of the museums offering virtual tours are the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, the National Gallery, and the Musée du Louvre.

Zoo Live Streams and Social Media
If you are missing visiting the zoo and seeing all the animals, you can check social media for zoos that are doing livestreams. Many zoos have begun to do Instagram and Facebook lives or post videos showing individual animals. The Birmingham Zoo posts “Meet the Neighbors” videos that show the animals and some of what goes into their care at the zoo. You can catch “Meet the Neighbors” on The Birmingham Zoo’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
