With week three of quarantine, you may find yourself having more and more free time. All of your favorite go-to games may start feeling a bit bland. Here are five new games that will likely help you kill a few hours.
Call of Duty: Warzone
Infinity Ward has thrown its hat into the ring of battle royale video games with the release of Call of Duty: Warzone. Warzone is free-to-play and allows for cross-platform play so that none of your friends are left out when it’s time to squad up. With a lobby capable of housing 150 players, Call of Duty: Warzone offers nonstop action for you and your friends to enjoy.
Available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Marvel’s Spider-Man
I’ll start this off by saying I have spent a little too much time on this game than I’d like to admit. Marvel’s Spider-Man was released in 2018, but if you’re like me and haven’t gotten around to playing it yet, do that now (I know you’ve got time). Developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Marvel’s Spider-Man will keep you busy with a fantastic campaign, countless collectibles and side-missions, and exciting fight/web slinging game mechanics.
Available on PS4
Price: $40 on Playstation Market, 20$ on Gamestop’s Website
Apex Legends
Another free-to-play battle royale game that offers crossplay, Apex Legends allows you to run solo or with a squad. With a smaller map and lobby meaning quicker game times, it’s easy to lose track of time when playing with friends. Additionally, a unique selection of playable heroes keeps things fresh and sets the game apart in a crowded genre.
Available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

NBA 2k20
If you’re like me, you miss the NBA. Luckily, NBA 2k20 is there to fill the void. 2k20 has a variety of gamemodes to give you your NBA fix: MyCareer gives you the opportunity to live out your professional hoop dreams, MyTeam allows you to construct your own starting five of NBA superstars to take others in online play, and MyGM lets you take control of your favorite NBA franchise and lead them to championship glory.
Available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Minecraft offers endless hours of creation and exploration for you to enjoy on your own or with friends. Whether you want to suit up and take on the ender dragon or construct massive structures, there are endless ways to play when it comes to the best selling game of all time.
