There are tons of things to do this weekend in Birmingham. This weekend check out art, music, movies and more with plenty events being free and under $15.

Friday

Magic City Wellness Center Vaccine Clinic

Where: Magic City Wellness Center
When: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Price: Free

You can receive the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for free at the Magic City Wellness Center. Keep yourself and others safe by getting vaccinated Saturday. No appointment required; you only need to call 205-877-8677 to confirm you’re coming so your vaccine dose is ready. The Magic City Wellness Center will have clinics for future dates so you can receive your second dose, or you can make an appointment at another location. Find more information here.

Bad Movie Night

Where: Sidewalk Film Center and Cinema
When: 7:30 p.m.
Price: Free, first-come-first-serve

Head out to Sidewalk Cinema at the Pizitz to enjoy a bad movie. No tickets necessary but it is first-come-first-serve and limited capacity. Enjoy the concessions Sidewalk has to offer and bring a friend so you can laugh and cringe at a bad movie together. More information on their Facebook page.

Birmingham Art Crawl

Where: The Pizitz
When: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Price: Free

If you read Elizabeth Guffin’s article on Birmingham Art Crawl, you’ll know there are tons of offerings available this Saturday at Art Crawl. You can find anything from art prints, clothes and even spells by Pizitz Food Hall. Meet up with friends and take in what the Birmingham art scene has to offer. Eat in the Streets

Where: The Pizitz
When: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Price: Free

Eat in the Streets is coordinating with Art Crawl this week to bring food and entertainment to 19th Street. There will be pop ups by Sidewalk Cinema, Nola Ice, The Louis Bar and more for you to enjoy while you stroll through Art Walk. DJ Dolly will also be there providing music and entertainment. The Molly Ringwalds

Where: Avondale Brewing Company
When: Doors at 6 p.m., show at 7:30 p.m.
Price: $15

If you’re a fan of 80s music make sure to check out The Molly Ringwalds at Avondale Brewing Company. You can hear some of the greatest hits of the decade at this all ages concert this Saturday. Tickets are standing general admission. Get your tickets here.

Sunday

Brunch and Brushes

Where: Iron City Grill
When: 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Price: $15

The Paintnics will be at Iron City Grill to give a private art lesson and all the supplies you’ll need to create your masterpiece. You can grab brunch at Iron City Grill before the event starts and the bar will be open during the event if you want to enjoy a drink during the art lesson. Get tickets on Eventbrite.

After Sunday Art Exhibit

Where: Studio 2500
When: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Price: $10

Close out your weekend by enjoying art, food and live music at Studio 2500. Tickets are available online and at the door. While you’re there you can also get 20% off select works at the gallery. Get your ticket here.
